I contacted Lauren after seeing a comment she posted in response to another mother on a Facebook page. I instantly connected with her, she asked about my 8 month old daughter’s temperament, birth and routine. Lauren also spoke to me at length about my parenting style and goals, which she then used as a guide for developing a response to my daughter’s inconsistent daytime naps and hourly overnight wake-ups. Together, we developed a course of action that was discussed at length with both myself and my husband before implementing the changes consistently. My husband and I knew what to do in any situation - we both felt so confident. It took two days for my daughter’s sleep to improve and a week for her to be sleeping through the night. I feel so much better already and am no longer struggling to get out of the door for work everyday.

I was so sleep deprived, my six month old would only fall asleep while feeding and would wake up constantly. My husband couldn’t help, she didn’t want anything but the boob. I went through period where I thought this was normal and celebrated the physical exhaustion I was living through.
I was tired, stressed, stuck in the house. Our routine was unpredictable. I knew my baby was tired too.
A friend recommended that I contact Lauren, her sister had used her while pregnant to learn about baby sleep and what to expect and how to respond should certain situations arise. I went into motherhood with a bit of a different attitude, kind of fly by the seat of my pants. I wish I hadn’t, maybe I would have enjoy the fist six months even more. However, I am glad that I contacted her when I did and not any later. I have developed so many skills and so much confidence in my own parenting and now I know how to teach my daughter to sleep and I know how to respond to things that will arise as she changes and grows. I have a sustainable approach to her sleep. I feel so so much better now. DO IT.
I was apprehensive about engaging a sleep consultant, they are expensive and I thought that I could find everything I needed online for FREE. Ummm, no.
My 10 month old son was waking four or more times a night and while his day sleeps were ok (or so I thought), he was irritable and clingy. He would not go to his dad and it was to the point where I couldn’t have a shower without him in the room.
Lauren was recommenced to me by a friend from mother’s group. I gave her a call and felt so empowered after our free initial consult that I signed up immediately.
What I loved the most was that Lauren worked with both me and my husband to develop a routine and settling method, we even developed the phrases that my husband and I would both use in certain situations. I no longer felt as though it was just me, alone, trying to work this out! My husband developed an understanding of our child’s sleep needs and developmental stage. Our son responded so well and so quickly, it has been a month and he has woken up once during the night in that whole time, I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

Our spirited two year old was refusing to nap, refusing to go to bed EVRY DAY. She was so overtired, we had tried everything.
I found Lauren, after a friend that had worked with her, sent me one of her instagram posts. Immediately I was interested and requested a free 20 minute consult. She was a wealth of knowledge about developmental milestones and age appropriate sleep needs. We booked in and worked on a plan which we implemented immediately. Lauren’s approach was holistic; we considered our nutrition, our environment and routines. We made little changes that had fast impacts that benefited us all. My parter and I followed the suggestions to the letter and they worked.
Lauren’s support thoughout the whole process was second to none, she was available at all times and responded thoughtfully. When I didn’t think things were going great she reminded me that little wins were big wins and suggested changes if needed. I felt so confident. Don’t question investing in your sleep - worth it!
